Andy Reid height-American football coach, Andrew Walter Reid was born on March 19, 1958, in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America.
He was a student at John Marshall High School and a teen vendor at Dodger Stadium. At the Lemon Grove Recreation Center in East Hollywood, he also participated in youth athletics, where Pete Arbogast served as one of his coaches.
Arbogast was the radio play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Bengals and currently announces for the USC football team.
When Reid, at 13 years old, competed in the Punt, Pass, and Kick competition on Monday Night Football in 1971, he was already so big that he was wearing Les Josephson’s (6’1″, 207-pound) uniform.
At Glendale Community College in Glendale, California, Reid played offensive lineman. He intended to transfer to Stanford but damaged his knee.
Randy Tidwell is Reid’s teammate and best buddy, and BYU head coach LaVell Edwards sought him out and added him to the squad in an effort to encourage Tidwell to enroll at BYU.
Reid played on the same BYU squad as Tom Holmoe and Jim McMahon. Reid’s teammates remarked that while he didn’t play much, he was highly analytical and paid great attention to Doug Scovil, the offensive coordinator, and Edwards. His senior year, BYU took home the Holiday Bowl victory.

Reid started his coaching career as an offensive assistant with the Green Bay Packers, where he worked from 1992 to 1998 and won the Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXI.
With the Eagles, w hen he served as head coach for the first time in 1999, they consistently advanced to the postseason.
Reid guided the Eagles to nine postseason appearances, six division titles, five NFC Championship Games (including four straight from 2001 to 2004), and a loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX.
Reid had a history of success, but the Eagles lost ground and missed the playoffs in 2011 and 2012, which resulted in his firing from Philadelphia.
In 2013, Reid was instantly appointed head coach of the Chiefs, where he successfully turned around the team’s dire situation.
He assisted in breaking the 1993–2004 playoff losing run of eight games. He has guided Kansas City to successful seasons in his ten seasons with the team, with nine playoff trips, seven division crowns, five straight AFC Championship Games, three Super Bowl appearances (LIV, LV, LVII), and two victories (LIV, LVII).
Reid is the National Football League’s (NFL) head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. From 1999 through 2012, Reid served as the Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach.
He served as the Eagles’ executive vice president of football operations from 2001 until 2012 before taking over as general manager.
He is the first NFL coach to have led two separate teams to consecutive conference titles while also winning 100 games. One of the best head coaches in NFL history is considered to be Reid.
